I saw this TV at a Circuit City showroom about a week ago and compared to other brands of this size the picture quality seemed rather blurry. Of course it could be that the settings needed to be played around with but I'd stay away from TVs of any kind be it LCD or plasma made by Phillips. 
We were looking at a Philips plasma and decided against it. Philips really do not get great reviews as far as PQ. We ended up going with a Sammy plasma and we're very happy we did...
