Ebay Cables?

Ive heard great things about mono-price for their deals on HDMI cables which we need 2 of (cable box and PS3). Would you trust any cables on Ebay? This seller has 99.1% feedback and seem reputable with his items. http://cgi.ebay.com/2-PACK-OF-9FT-Pr...ayphotohosting
this is the auction for 2 HDMI cables
this is all the length i need - is this a good deal of good quality?

bump for monoprice, they have some good stuff at really good prices. they are actually based in my city, so i pick up my stuff up in person. they've expanded warehouses in between the two times i've been there, so business must be good.

I got a small toslink optical cable for basically nothing+shipping from them and the cable is great. Looks like good build quality on the cable & connectors.

Buying some cables on eBay makes no sense when you have access to a cheap and proven cable supplier. Why buy some unknown cable for what is probably the most important hookup on the whole setup just to save a few bucks?

Visit Monoprice.com or firefold.com. Both companies have had their cables disected and compared to Monster cables and both have either been equal to, or better then them at a fraction of the price.

Firefold.com 10' cable = $5.99 plus shipping
Monoprice.com 10' cable = $7 to $20 depending on the version you chose (they have several available)

I'd buy from one of them since you know those cables have been tested and proven verses some unknown off of eBay...

Ebay dude is nailing you on the shipping. May as well play it safe and get high quality from monoprice for close to the same price.

i just ordered mine from amazon.com for $4.98. Cables Unlimited hdmi cables. they had really good reviews so i paid $10 shipped. over on highdefforums everyone says the cheap ones are no different than the $100 monster cables. its all digital so it dosent matter. cant wait to test out my new 32" lcd and sony upconvert dvd player with these hdmi cables.

^ Well yes and no. All HDTVs are digital, yet there is tons of disparity between brands. If the cable is constructed of shitty material, it can degrade the signal.

I'd stick with the ones that have been disected and tested like those from monoprice.com.

juniorbean directed me to monoprice.com before and it worked GREAT. I got my 10' HDMI cable for $25.00 shipped and no complaint so far. Since you are looking to get two, you could even save on shipping. If you have this many ppl telling you how great the website is, I don't see why not try it.

on highdefforum they said that the philips hdmi isnt bad at all. they were telling the noobs asking which cables to get, that the phillips is a good wire. so i guess it really isnt that bad. i wouldve went to walmart myself to get the phillips but i rather save more money and order my cables for 10 shipped.
