Calibrating HDTV
Can anyone provide me with a link or a set of instructions on how to properly calibrate my HDTV display?
I'm on my third Westinghouse 32" LCD. I had no problem getting a picture I liked with the first two. However, they had other issues so I had to return them. The last return occured this past Friday and, since they didn't have the old model in stock, Best Buy gave me the newer model (Westy SK-32H240S). The newer model has the same picture controls (i.e. brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and backlight) but for some reason I can't get a picture that I'm happy with. The picture, to me, seems to be missing the color yellow and I can't for the life of me figure out how to boost that color. For finer tuning there are special user controls that let you adjust the green, blue, and red level individually but even playing with these I can't get the color balance to my liking. So, anyone have a good procedure to go through? I would like to see if I can get the adjustment done right before I settle on spending money on a calibration DVD.

If you have a THX certified DVD, you can use that. It's not the best thing in the world, but it's free.
