I just picked up a Weed Hound a few days ago. These things are great for pulling out dandelions and weeds with a similar root structure. My back isn't the greatest, and I'm happy to report that after making my daily pass for the dandelions that are in flower I have no back pain.

$20 at HD. I hear that they go on sale sometimes.
