yeah I have been pushing for the pay and bonus, but you know how it goes...

it was funny when I had a similiar discussion with my manager last year, he was like "we dont have a budget for bonus this year" and I forwarded him all 4 quarterly emails from the CEO saying we surpassed all sales goals...yeah he went quite LOL....

its a battle for bonus every year LOL....

yeah little one keeps us very busy....its a blessing I get to work from home, so I get to spend a lot of time with him....

he gave us a surprise 4 days back and took his first few steps....was an amazing feeling...

Fking awesome Anil!

In regards to pay and bonus.. let it be known that you believe you deserve one, but if you press too much, they might think you're dissatisfied and give you the boot. Happened to an hombre of an hombre recently. He kept complaining that he wasn't being paid enough nor given an appropriate bonus.. HR got fed up and gave him the boot since they felt they couldn't satisfy his demands.

Dave

Maj, I agree....the only issue is the way the company is setup....so I have a "career counselor" but he is not my manager on site....so my manager on site and him have to stay in touch...but all in all he has no clue what am doing on the project..

so come review time, I have almost all the folks right me a review....my peers, my subordinates, my manager, hell even the client managers LOL....so this way he gets an overload of info on my work....

last year I was due for a promotion and it didnt happen...even my career counselor was like "dude you deserved it but sorry I couldnt make it happen"....well hopefully this year since am managing multiple on site resources along with a full offshore team (up in Israel), things might go through....at least that's the hope....

will try to get some vids of the kid walking for you guys (specially for you Maj )

Griots rack Anil? How is it? I've had it in my Griots cart for a while now and haven't pulled the trigger.

It had been almost 6 months since the drywall was up and sanded down...finally got in touch with the cabinet guy and showed him the design I had in my mind and he did an awesome job at a great price...
