Stamped Concrete
From what I've gathered on the internet from various tutorials stamping concrete doesn't seem too hard. You pour the concrete and then stamp it!?
Is it worth doing myself? I have faith in my work, but would I save a lot of money?!

What's the application (patio, stepping stones, etc?)
How big an area are you doing?
Where are you getting the concrete from (premixed bags, truck delivery?)

Well I'll answer your questions, but after some more research today it doesn't seem like a DIY job.
1) Patio (one level)
2) 12-15X12-15
3) I initially thought premixed bags, but the truck would be the easiest and fastest.
I'm leaning toward pavers right now...

Yeah I've done a lot of reading/research and have yet to find a true DIY for stamping concrete. I've read it is not recommended for the DIYer, so I'll probably hold off on it..

We had it professionally done at home for our backyard patio and path going around the house. You can tell it's not real stone, but it does look great and hasn't had any cracks whatsoever in the 5 years we've had the house.

I'd say leave it to the pros for this one.

Pavers aren't bad if you are keeping it simple, no patterns and stuff. It does take a lot of materials such as the stone, aggregate, toos(tamper and saw for cutting). My buddies and I put in mine, but we had access to all of the tools at no cost.
