squeezing the life out of my leather couch

I've had my black leather couches for about 10 years now and they're heavily worn and cracking. I'd like to get 2 more years of use of them before I buy a home and furnish the crap out of it... looking for quick alternative for now rather than buy a new couch, looking for maybe some square black leather plush cushions to cover the seating area.

i could buy a huge sheet of faux leather and some cotton and have myself an arts and craft session, but just wondering if anyone's seen a product like that.

Pick the appropriate color, go to town.

faux leather is surprisingly expensive, IIRC it cost me about $120 for a 4x8 piece from Joannes and it was their lower quality stuff.

Best bet would probably be to get some covers for the sofas. if the leather is that bad, probably nothing you can do to save it. Give some leather conditioner a shot in a small area and see what it does.

There are some leather repair companies out there that will recondition the leather and even repair it if necessary. Did that to my car, and the leather looked brand new, and you could hardly tell it was krinkled.

Just get a sofa cover for it. That's the cheapest solution.

or you could go the getto way and buy 2 matching king size sheets, cut one up and duct tape it to the seat cushions, and use the other one to cover the upper portion...
