Nice.

Looks slightly Ritzy with the brown leather and the dark green walls.

Where are the other picks?

Are those recessed lights in the living room new? I can't tell from the "before" pics.

If so, how difficult are they to install? Does it require removing the drywall from the ceiling?

yeah they're recessed lights; 6" non ic Halo cans. they were a snap to install because there's an attic above that room. all i had to do was cut the holes for the lights with a drywall saw and get the wiring down to the light switch junction box. i did end up replacing the 2 switch junction box to a 3 switch unit too i guess (they're all on a dimmer). all in all it was piece of cake though. took about 3 hrs. the hardest part was measuring to figure out where each light should be and making sure there were no studs in the way.

That looks really great... Did you do the interior decorating yourself, or did you have some help?

thanks i had help from the ex gf. my only real contribution to picking out furniture/paint/pictures etc was eliminating the girly frilly stuff from the menu.

Looks really good Mark. Color choices and furniture, lighting, accesories, all get A +.

Looks like a good place to share that hooker.

Awesome!

Amazing. That is a sweet remodel. I like the colors you used. The crown molding is a nice finishing touch.

it folds against the wall, but not flushly. It moves horizontally left to right on two swingarms.

funny thing is I made that monitor mount using shelf swingarms from my ikea 'jerker' desk and some metal cable (gotta love ikea names) . I was surprised how good the finished product looked. i'm too cheap to pay 90+ bucks for half decent a fp monitor mount.

i dont have an exact number, but here's some rough numbers:
lighting (cans,switches/wire/junction boxes,chandelier etc etc) 550$
paint and supplies 250$
carpet 1400$ for 3 rooms
furniture/pictures 5000$
appliances(washer/fridge/range) 2500$
concrete 6500$
heater/ac unit+ humidifier 5400$
tv/stand/etc- 2800$

so i guess about 24k, but that's including new furniture and appliances.

hmm. never added it up before.
