Slipping Seat Cushions?

So we have a leather couch with three seat cushions that slide up under the back cushions, which are attached.

The seat cushions will NOT stay put; they are constantly sliding out towards the edge of the sofa, which means that we're always losing tiny things behind the cushions, and I'm always falling off the couch (a minor casualty, I'm sure).

So... anyone have any ideas for how we can keep these cushions on permanently? I've considered large velcro strips, but I'm worried that they'll either not stick well, or will ruin the couch. Anyone else had this problem?

they sell these rubbery mats at walmart for like 2 dollars that you can line your shelves with, i used 2 big rolls of those and those helped alot. Make sure you buy the ones with the holes, not the smooth one.

Hmm, we actually have some of that stuff left over from when we lined our cabinets, come to think of it. Thanks! I'll try that this weekend!

Yeah, they sell that stuff for futons too... for just the reason you're talking about.
