I'd be more inclined to check Consumer Reports for that than AZ, in that case.

What are you, nuts?

CR does not do it for me. Years ago they did a tire test of a all season and summer performance tire and gave the win to the all season. IT WAS BETTER IN THE RAIN!

I've researched this a bit and it really depends on if your home has a lot of obstacles, how big it is, and what the flooring surface is. I know my wife has one in the tack room at the barn and says it keeps the floor spotless but it's a barn and not a huge house. What are you dealing with?

This.

We had one in our last house and it did a great job of keeping the floors clean between regular cleanings. We had a large, wide-open first floor that was all hardwood, so it made it's way around no problem. I wouldn't use it as a primary cleaning device but it definitely extended the time we needed before regular cleanings.

Too expensive for my taste but people I know that have them seem to like them.

Day (6) with a model 870 . . .

and it is a keeper! Very interesting device and it cleans very well, or it manufactures cat hair while it is running! Rubber cleaning rollers work much better than brushes would as animal hair does not get tangled in them. It runs for about (1) hour before returning to the charging dock. 20% of coupon at BB&B made the cost easier to sallow. With the amount of technology in the unit I am puzzled why a NiMH battery was used and not a Lithium?

I was also debating on getting one, and also from BB&B because of the 20% off coupon lol.

Still debating on it.. the hardwood area of ours isn't THAT big but it constantly gets dirty with the grass the dog brings in everyday.

Was debating between the 770 and 650.

Make sure the 650 has the RUBBER brushes/rollers if you get one. Pet hair does not get tangled in those.
