I got a Char Broil gas grill. Just your regular BBQ with a burner on the side. Is it super complicated where I should set aside a Saturday, or can I tackle it after work?
My girlfriends parents just bought us a Charbroil grill this weekend for our new home and I threw that thing together in like 20 minutes. Its really simple, not tools necessary for mine, plus the burner and dials already came installed. You can easily do it after work.
should only take an hour at most, the longest part is ripping everything out of the box and sorting it out. It helps if you have someone to help and hold things while you tighten things up.

So during the Dolphin game we put it together. I bought a tank and everything but quick question. The booklet recommends a leak test. I bought my tank from Home Depot and it's full. Should I go ahead and test it or is it a waste of time.

A. Turn on the gas, but leave the burners off and listen for leaks. If you don't hear anything after the initial filling of the line, you should be good to go.
B. Turn on the gas, turn on the burners and hit the ignitor switch. If you don't lose your eye brows, lashes and eye sight, you are good to go

Just double check your connections and try option A to be safe. I don't think any of the home improvement stores ever leak test their pre-assembled units. Did they recommend brushing on a water/soap solution to test for bubbles? That would be a good test, but seems like over kill.
