What's great deal? In general, all houses price in California has gone down, but it's not like you can buy a house for 2/3 of asking price. You might able to cut down $10-20k maybe little more, but no more than that. but I'm pretty sure if you really look around then you can find houses that you call it "GREAT DEAL". I mean if you go to nice areas people still buy houses for what the buyer's asking for w/o any deal, so I guess it all depends. All I know it's not worth buying a house at this time unless you are super rich or able put 30-40%down.

btw, it was already in good condition, but we just renovated to fit into our style. I'm not going to say how much exact we paid for, but let's just say that we paid over mill before renovation.
