New Storm Door
New Storm Door
Well my daughter decided to open the old door with her foot and it exploded into a million pieces.
Today Lowes installed a new storm door with double pane glass and triple locks in about 20 minutes.
Even though I'm still mad at her for destroying our crap, in the long run it will be better. The old door had an inch gap at one end, and the new one is flush with double weather seals.

I've dealt with several Larson's lately. Every single one, the handles have started to chip/flake on the outdoor side. I even got a warranty replacement for one, the replacement is doing the same thing. They claim you are supposed to polish/wax them periodically
I got new storm doors for the my front and back doors last year. I went with Anderson full glass/screen doors as they seemed to be the best quality available at the retail stores (HD, Lowes). Actually, I wasn't impressed with anything Lowes had at the time, even their expensive doors...I believe Larson was their "top" brand.
I got a "fixed" glass system by Larson. Screens never last around this house with three cats.
HD's Anderson looks nice. I read alot of pros and cons for each brand. I do really like the fact that my door has a closer at the top and the bottom.
