Need some snow blower help

Well I've gone and done it. Broke our Honda HS622 snowblower. There was a newspapers lurking under the fresh snow and I ran it over. Now there's a full edition of the paper stuck in the second stage of the auger. It's really wedged in there to the point where it stalls out the motor. I also can't pull it out for the life of me. It looks like i'm going to have to remove the entire auger assembly. Does anyone one know how to do this? or better yet can anyone find a copy of the service manual?

TIA and FML.

That's the same snowblower I have, and I did the same thing last year.

I had to take the blades off of the auger to get at the wedged newspaper in the second stage, then I cut the wet newspaper apart with a utility knife until it was out. Taking the auger blades off is a piece of cake -- just some small carriage bolts and nuts hold them on.

I have a .PDF of the manual -- PM me your e-mail address and I'll set it right out.

Here are the nuts to remove to take an auger blade off.

Been there - done that. It always seems to be a nice thick Sunday paper too. I also sucked in a blue tarp. That was a huge PITA to get out. I also thought about using a torch - but I usually just pulled and cut.

Of course these things all happened with my old sno-blower. I bought a Simplicity 13HP with a 38" wide cut. Biggest walk-behind they sell I think. Last year, I sucked in a Sunday Boston Globe and thought I was screwed. In about 15 seconds I had a pound of newspaper confetti on the ground. I was shocked!! Way to go Simplicity!

Although, in hindsight, I should have bought the Ariens 9HP or 11HP with the 28" cut. The Simplicity is tough to maneuver and store. Great for clearing my large driveway quickly - but it does have some drawbacks.

I do like the electric chute control - beats the crank!

We're getting more snow tonight so I'll have a chance to run over the paper again in the morning.
