Last year I bought a 8HP Little Wonder blower that is about 15 years old. It runs great. Starts on the second pull when cold. The only problem with it is that the engine is about the loudest thing I have ever heard. I suspect that the muffler is shot. The engine runs strong, doesn't smoke and doesn't burn any oil.

The engine is a Briggs I/C. How hard is it going to be to get the muffler off of this thing? I bet that is seized on. Should I just attempt to get an exact replacement muffler or get some kind of upgrade?

 

Have you tried looking for a local lawnmower repair shop? They could probably order one for you. What's the brand on the blower?
