My Place is boring

Ok so I am looking around my place and noticed it is super bland. Any ideas to spice things up. Please sorry about the random dog toys

Guest Bath

Living area

Bedroom

Eating Area/Office

Decent View on the plus side

Sorry for the crappy kitchen picture but any idea on colors or new furniture or what? Thanks

bring a girl in? I'm sure she'll make your place like hers...

What exactly are you looking for? Maybe it's different when you're actually standing in there, but it doesn't look bad from the pictures. I wish my kitchen in my apt was that nice.

1. I love the WTF towel
2. I really like your kitchen, I think its the cabinet colors with the counter tops.
3. I would say get some more furniture and more color for your bedroom

I think your place is not bad. I would however harmonize the colors better. It's a little too sporadic for me.

One of the sites I run is www.modernlinefurniture.com So I do know contemporary decor.

Color on the walls in the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen.

Maybe a nice tile or glass backsplash in the kitchen.

Bigger TV mounted on the wall.

Maybe a different color/theme in the living room area? The "Under the Sea" thing connotes tranquility and quiet.

I like the idea. I did a galaxy granite like that, looks very nice.

But then again, it's the sunny Florida. I'm sure with sunlight and open balcony your living room is a nice chill spot.

I actually like the living room, the rug I'm not feeling. Your bedroom definitely needs a girl's touch... It's "cold" there.

Your kitchen is actually pretty nice.

These people are overpriced, but they do have nice contemporary accessories.

http://www.chiasso.com/

You may also try to put some nice colorful contemporary art... Something unique. Just don't over do it.

thanks for the comments, the bedroom def. needs some work which hopefully the new gf can help with. I am freaking terrible with colors and a new TV is in the works. I am planning on mounting it above the little hutch thing and putting the current 32 in my bedroom. I currently have a tilting articulating mount but I think i will use that in my room and just get a fixed mount for the living room. Yes, that room is super bright during the day for whomever brought it up.

Any ideas for the bland bedroom? I somehow got stuck on that damn sea-ish blue. I really like the green of the surf bag in my room with crisp white molding but I don't think that green is idea for a room.

Oh, the towels. I bought a few from NM after slick deals pointed out a sale on them. They were pretty cheap and you could get them monogrammed for free but who the hell wants monogramed towels, that is unless you put WTF on them. I actually have a few floating around in different colors but they usually end up at the gym.

edit - TeknoKing - Nice site and that stuff looks great. You have some huge couches on there

A bedroom should a tranquil place. I've actually did a soft beige/brown color via sponge...so it gave it a nice simple design, and it provided the cozyness I was looking for. Of course this is to your taste. Think of which colors make your mind relax.

just a sample I've found on google

I Wish I had your view though.. It's freezing and nasty in NYC

And regarding my site, thanks. We deal mostly with commercial accounts, but everyone is welcomed. Great modern furniture for cheap.

Night stands and lamps in the bedroom would probably add a little more homey feeling to it!

I like the color in the living room/dining area. Some green would compliment it. The place has a ocean theme to it or things that relates to water which you can go from there. Very nice place even though its "boring".

get yourself a nightstand and a hamper if you don't have one already. I'm looking for a hamper in my room.

A hamper? My closet has them built in to the shelving with a big metal basket that slides off the door when you open it for easy transport to the machine.

Night stand I def. need. I had one that matched the bed and dresser along with a floor to ceiling mirror that matched as well but the wonderful mover broke it. I cant find anything I really like that goes with the current stuff. I like the dresser but it has a kind of weird look that not many things seem to match (i will grab a pic).

Oh, the view is great, infiniti edge pool where you can spy on all the sunbathers ha

sweet setup. everything looks fine, you're lucky enough to be able to furnish the apt. the one item that was strange to me were the chairs. I'd say either upholster them a different color/fabric. The entire apartment is very modern, but those chairs look outdated and like secondhand furniture.

Nice crib patrick! I like the minimalist style lolz. Repaint the bedroom, add more art, some furniture such as a bed stand/night stand, lighting, and modern ceiling fan would be nice touches. I <3 the surfboard btw.

Maybe add some ocean pictures. Here's my family room. My patient custom made these pulled canvases for me. I have his art all over my home and office.

J/K... I wish I had a view like that out my back window, instead I have train tracks!!!

Edit: Is that an apartment or condo? If you don't mind me asking what's something like that go for?

Paint te bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, and you'll be fine. you've pulled off a very sophisticated/contemporary style, which could be lost if you add lots of clutter/decorations.
