My Garage makeover project

With the help of my father, we have been working on redoing the garage. It is 30 years old and never was taken care of. So it was time to redo it. Here is the progress photos...not done yet, but getting there.

If I wasn't busy with work, I am busy doing something I have wanted to do for years...... Working evenings and this weekend doing this it is finally coming together... Here are pics to show the progess. Floor EPOXY w/flakes and cabinets are soon to come and finishing the new wall with paint.

New Electrical Installed: New Panel with breakers, new and additional circuits with plugs dedicated for the garage. Separated the house from those circuits so they aren't shared anymore. Dedicated circuit for Air Compressor. All to code

Lighting: 7 new T8 lights installed.

Walls: New sheet rock, and paint on all walls including repairs and paint to roof.

Cabinets: Ultimate Garage Cabinets (soon)

Flooring: Ultimate Garage flooring (soon)

I will update this thread when I have more to post!

This wall had Wood Paneling...it was removed.

Not to nitpick, but the red lines look a little uneven.

Also, when you choose an epoxy, don't use Behr's, for the love of God.

The lines are perfectly straight in person. We are using the Sherwin Williams Epoxy with 5 year warranty being installed by a Pro. I won't do that myself.

lookin good Russell, very similar to what I'm trying to do in my garage. I'm also trying to replace the junction box, run new circuits, setup air compressor, epoxy the floor, and hang cabinets. Nice work

OMFG that looks amazing! It's like I'm looking at a picture in a catalog! I do not see myself having a garage that nice in this lifetime.

How much did it all cost?

Sherwin Williams Epoxy. I had a company come in and do the floor as I wasn't going to touch that. Comes with a 5 year guarantee against anything.

That looks f'in phenomenal! One suggestion that I saw in portlandRL's garage redo (think it was him) that I thought was silly but turned out great is switching the plugs to black with stainless covers. Again, I thought it was a waste but he posted pics and it really set his garage off
