Lawn Season

with the mild winter we had i broke down and got the old lawnmower out yesterday and cut the yard for the first time this year, this will continue every 6 days (on average) till october, my yard grows fast as shit. Today ill be weed eating and deweeding flower beds. How often do others have to cut their yard to keep them respectable looking.

Heh... it'll probably be several weeks before my lawn comes out of dormancy and really starts growing.

Once a week. I keep the mower at the highest setting to prevent evaporation. It's bad to cut your lawn too short.

Just got my first house in Feb. Cut the grass 2 weeks ago for the first time in 9 years! Bought a nice Honda as many on the board have suggested. Need to get some weed and feed, weed wacker, edger, and fire ant killer...

I do mine about 1 a week, but sometimes it goes 2 weeks if I'm busy.

It's true that you don't want to cut the lawn too short...

Time for a bigger mower

If I wait 10 days, I used to have to rake, but I've got a lawn sweeper now

I've got 2 riders now, but I thinking about buying a cheap push mower to get into the spots that the riders don't reach...
