Great Deal Alert....

My drill battery crapped out a couple weeks ago. I've been looking and was just going to spend $70 on 2 new batteries. I came across this deal this morning. It shows as "Out of Stock." I printed out the page and took it to Lowes and they matched it plus an additional 10%. Not sure if you will have the same luck, but I felt like sharing today.

Good luck.

That is a pretty nice deal. If I didn't already have those tools I might have picked it up.

The only thing is the batteries aren't Lithium ion and don't have a great useful life. I have a Dewalt drill/battery combo I got a couple of years ago and now the batteries won't hold a charge for more than a day or two. They usually need to be charged right before use. I wish the Li Ion batteries weren't so damn expensive, though. Nearly $60 each.

Yeh....but it worked out to be $189 for me out the door. Nothing else was even close to the quality for less than $400.

Yup it's been on FW and SD forums for a few days. Looks like the manufacturers are coming out with new toys. Ryobi has some good deals too.

Hmm. Out of everything there, I only have a cordless drill. Hmmm....I may have to think about this one.

Yeh....I saw it on SD. I read the thread attached to it. A lot of people have had luck with taking the print out to Lowes. Some have not. If it did not work I probably would have ended up with the Ryobi.
