i'm tempted to try these:

Costco has LED Tube fixtures or just the LED Tubes themselves in warehouse. or these online: https://www.costco.com/4%E2%80%99-Li...100284402.html

Yeah they are a bit pricey but I can't imagine you would need more than two in your garage.

Also you can get them from Home Depot so if you can find some of those 15% off moving coupons you may be able to use them on that which would be nice.

So I got tired of staring at the platform for the attic. Decided I needed to break it up a little bit. photo286.jpg

Don't mean to intrude on your thread, but I didn't want to create a new thread for this.

Teaser pic below. Everything is just about done, but I still have a giant pile of wifey's crap that I've been working around the whole time which she needs to go through/get rid of... every time I bring it up it starts an argument about how much stuff she has to take care of and now it's covered in sawdust so it's only going to be worse... but I digress. I'll take pics of the rest of the garage after our divorce.

oh yeah... excuse the garbage bag curtains

Done(ish)! Just have some cleaning up to do and get some hooks and whatnot.
The slanty part to the right of the tool chest is a set of stairs that goes up to my daughter's playroom. I dropped the ceiling height in the garage a couple years ago and finished the room above. The boxout to the left of the tool chest conceals the water heater. One of the panels is removable for access. I'm most proud of that bit.

I've been trying to figure out ways to cut down on dust. I believe the biggest contributor is the unsealed concrete, gonna seal it eventually. In the meantime I've been thinking about adding one of these

+1 for New Age. A family member is happy with their Gladiator cabinets too.

I don't know if you ever did anything with this but a box fan and a furnace filter works every bit as good as one of these.

I have ordered the 108" wide bold newage cabinets. I was somewhat interested in the pro, but the bold will work well for me. I'll post before and after pics. These are going to look so sweet. I am going to need to relocate the tv on the wall. In the future i'll get more of the wall cabinets too.

I have the cabinets and it's taking a bit longer to assemble some parts, but it's coming together. I went with the bold 108" cabinet set and the pro base cabinet along with the pro wall cabinet. It went with the single pro pieces because of the width and depth of where they had to go. I couldn't justify the cost of the pro cabinet 108" set over the bold. The bold is still really nice.

I'll post pics when done. It is really transforming the whole garage in a good way. Thanks for the recommendation.

Not done, but progress. I need to mount the cabinet on the right on the wall.
