I think you may have overdone it with the cabinets a little - do you really need that much cabinet space?

Well, I'd like to get crap off the floor of my garage, hence why I hate the shelves.

It's an on-going project, so I have no clue.

I know the speakers are working and hooked up. The volume control works very well, and it was done yesterday (after a lot of swearing).

Looks good. It's nice to have access to the ceiling to do that. I'm working on our garage when we get some time as well. I need to make room for my wife to park in the winter.

I agree with having the cabinets. If I could afford to, I would get some for my garage as well. And when I buy a place, I'm sure I will. But for now I have a bunch of shelves and 3 work benches in my garage.

Yeah, I plan on having a work bench or something put in. I used to have one, but it was right under the attic access hole. I couldn't get a fold-down ladder in there.

Ahhhh. I lucked out with my apartment. The garage is really big. We can park 2 cars in there and have about 6 to 8 feet of space on either side and about 10 feet of space in front of the cars. We have a utility room as well that has a ton of space. So a lot of the shelves are going up in there.

Sweet. I feel we would have more space if my wife wouldn't pull up so far!

Time to install some of those speed bumps so she parks in the right spot.

Nope, that's my Accord. I don't drive an Acura. My wife drives the Civic. I'll tell her you mistook that for an Acura though! She'll be thrilled!

It drives me nuts that I can't. Our new place has so much more space than our condo, and for some reason, even though we did not really buy anything new, half the garage seems to have stuff piled. I'm amazed that we fit all that stuff in our condo and still had people commenting on how roomy it was when we were selling it.

No not anymore, but I wasn't paying that much attention, and since this is an ACURA forum I figured one of you two would own an ACURA!

Why would you think that?

Naw, my Accord is pretty close to the TL. That's why I'm here.

Here's what a carpenter buddy of mine and me put together. Took us about 7 days. 12 days if you count the shed that went into the backyard. There's nothing like cleaning up. I planned this out on paper, and then we kind of winged it as we went along. I love the work bench, and the space for my bikes.

Wow Pete, you have more crap that I do.

I cleaned mine this past weekend. I'll snap some shots of it later. But I can now fit both cars in there with a lot of space to spare. And I can find what I need a lot quicker.

For the single 30" by 18", it was $102.

For the double-door 30" X 36", it will be $136.

Depends on finish and cabinet size.

I added another 36"W X 30"H cabinet on the wall to the right of the existing cabinet. I like it. Now I just can't do anything to it for a while.

Looks good mang! I'd try and get the rest of that grout residue off of the tile.

Where in OP do you live? I am on Fleming Island (Pace Island).

Edit: Just saw this. Not bad. I don't like the shelves, but I'd consider the flooring. I have some uneven spots in my garage, and the flooring would cover that nicely.

I looked at the Gladiator stuff when I did my garage. I decided not to use it because it was extremely expensive and the available sizes were very limited.

I ended up going with www.garagestoragecabinets.com for reasonable prices and flexible cabinet sizing. A plus for me is that the cabinets don't contact the floor at all.
