My grandma has a manual garage door. It's a converted garage so there's no room for an electronic opener. She has a hard time lifting the heavy door. Anyone know if there are garage doors that open like regular doors, or roll up, or to the side with a chain? Or an according type of door?
I called several garage door installers & they need to come to the house to get an idea of what they can do.

It seems as if you need to buy a Wayne Dalton door to use this wall mount opener. Not sure if that poses a problem for you.

 

Actually, it looks like their opener works with most any garage door, which is cool. Nice find NSXNEXT

 

That wayne dalton is cool & would work, but WAY too much $$. The nearest dealer in my area is 70 miles away. The unit is $899 plus $300-350 install. Lowes in south FL doesn't cary wayne dalton.
