Garage conversion

Hey guys, I posted about this defunct garage previously. But now have the plan mapped out and quoted. I finally figured out the custom doors, which were a pain in the ass. I realized swing out or bypassing doors wouldn’t be weather tight or would be a problem in snow.

Scope of work
-Custom vertical lift door half glass. Pitched to the roof. Finding a half glass door took me a couple month of making calls but found someone out in CT that has access to a company called Northwest Door. This will provide for a double height space
-Liftmaster wall mounted jack master to free up ceiling of mechanicals
-Remove ceiling ties for door clearance and reinstall new ties higher up in the roof
- New slab, new roof, new electrical and lighting
-8x4 massive gliding windows to open up into party barn / covered dining. Marvin oxxo colonial style
-Pea gravel front

future projects that I’ll do-—GrassPave2 grass driveway connecting to the driveway for future weekend car winter storage
-dry bar
-insulation and barn wood paneled walls
-rear storage room

will keep everyone posted. This will be post winter but everything is fully buttoned up and scoped out

Here’s the custom door.

Top panels are similar to the brown door, but not arched. Bottom panels are similar to the red door
