Anyone been using one of these? I like that the sensor is supposed to track the pressure drop as the filter ages. I installed one two weeks ago and can say that it is the best built filter I have ever seen. It is a 1" thick pre-filter for the 5" unit in the attic. It will be interesting to see if it goes longer than the three months I usually change them at.
my olfactory sensor lets me know when its time to change the filter in the attic.
My nose will get plugged up and sometimes I wont be able to breath, letting me know it's time to change. I have pets and in the summer months where the A/C runs constantly...I'll have to change out the filter once a month.
in the fall and winter time, I can let it go for three months before my nose starts to tickle.
Still looks like it may last 4 months before asking to be replaced. The circulation fan has been running 24/7 since 9/9 since we are only about 10 miles from the Bobcat fire area.
