Drop in or screw on Grad ND Filter

Have been wanting to order a grad nd for awhile. Currently all my filters are b+W so that was the brand I was looking at. There about $150 on b&h.But then I was thinking with a grad filter you may be better off with a drop in setup . Someone suggested I go with a Serk filter holder and adapter ring. it's half the price of the lee holder. the Serk holder and adapter would run ya about $55

and then order a lee grad filter which runs about $!00. So that drop in setup would be the exact same price as the B+W screw on.

I applaud you for wanting to shoot and and do this in camera.

But, I will say, depending on which body youre shooting (and how good the sensor is, ie DR) The info is there on the image...and a grad tool in LR can achieve the same effect.

This of course depends on the style of shooting and the overall stop difference between your subject and your sky.
