Few Updates... New Driveway!!! w00t!!!
since i closed on the house, the blacktop driveway was cracking and the house was settling on the foundation causing the concrete walkways and patios around the side and rear of the house begin to slope towards the house. i began to get moisture inside the basement when it rained... so i said f' it, decided to rip out everything and upgrade...
Before:
AFTER!!!
Oh yeah new front door too!!!
Widen'd the walkway along the side of the house so now i can fit another car there if needed...
To the backyard.
i asked them to space out the backyard a bit more with the design... this shot shows the backyard a bit diff than the driveway area...
just need to do a bit more cleaning and its done... finally... 1 month...

I am Ahab!
Work like that probably required machines and such that cause damage to lawns when working. Such as deystroying the old driveway.
Looks WAY better then before.

thanks for all the compliments... in total a little over 11k... I paid 6k for the labor because i bought the materials on my own... in total, the pavers, rocks,
sand, and dumpsters a little over 5k... the dumpsters really killed my budget... i had to get 2 for the old concrete and blacktop, and 1 for dirt... i spent over 1k just for those suckers!!!
siding next year!!!

Looks great! Only thing i dont like about brick paver driveways is shoveling them in the winter. Makes things look way nicer though

Its not scratching that id be concerned about. Its the nut shot and sore wrists from every time the shovel hits the crack between the brick enough to stop it. (ive had to shovel a few brick driveways and it always sucked, but they are by far the best looking)

its closed... i was draining the collected water that was on the cover... and was cleaning up around the perimeter of the pool... there is grass and dirt on one side of the pool... i want to separate it and put rocks against the pool... i just don't like the grass and dirt all the way up on the pool wall..
