Decorating a bathroom
:ghey:
So I am trying to figure out what to do with my master ensuite. Its about 10x10 room, with a large jacuzzi tube in one corner and a shower sort of beside it in another corner. The tube has a window over it on one side and wall on the other. On the opposite side there is another large wall.
Hard to describe, but the bottom line is that right now I have alot of bare wall space. Other than painting the wall, what else can I do? Should I hang artwork? I've never really paid attention to how a washroom can or should be decorated. Should I just leave the walls bare?

IF there's space enough, a wicker chair (one that water won't hurt) is not a bad place to sit while drying off..
There are some great photomurals that could fill the wall. Depends on how you use the room; if it is stricly a utilitarian space, then leaving it as is is fine - if you are using it as a 'spa", taking a tall cool drink in to perch on the edge of the whirlpool, then paying some attention to the space makes a lot of sense. If you are doing the latter, look, not only to what you do with the wall, but how you can play with the light levels.

Get a (or use an existing) towel rack - put some fancy towels on there - tied with a ribbon or not depending on type of towels you pick - hang a picture over it - with colors complementing towels. This is what the wifey has done - looks nice. :theghey:
Note to self - do NOT forget and dry hands on these towels - this can ruin a weekend!! Trust me.

Pics?
It just depends on the space. You could make it seem cluttered if you add to much shit.
But just by guessing, I think two or three small pieces of art would look nice. Im working on that for my bathroom. Just be sure to get something cheaper because you dont want the humidity ruining a $100 piece of art.

Those RB curtains look mighty meaty.
