Yea, it was my artsy idea to try and have a accent wall. Not sure if its more of an accent or an eye sore.

LOL, I like the red. Your kitchen looks like it has potential, if you want to invest some time and muscle into it. You know, reface the cabinets, change the backsplash. It looks like it has an open feel to it. Unlike mine, which is all boxed in.
