For real. Florida guys chug, slam the bottle on the ground of your home, and then start drilling while doing lines off the drill they "borrowed" from you.

Then they sue you for cutting themselves on broken beer bottles while your guy is marking every hole Granted I hear J marks every hole as well but that's a different story.

LMAO...
what was REALLY funny about that was how incoherent that was, pretty clearly he was on some beer and coke when he posted!

So he got the first round of tape and mudding done, it's really starting to come together well.

For the window edges, he used plastic ends instead of metal to prevent the rusting that I had in the future, we'll also be resealing the window

So the drywall and mudding is all done, primed and then painted the ceiling and the walls, ended up needing more paint for the second coat, here's a couple from the first coat

He painted the second coat and then it was tile time!

Just noticed the 2 different colors in the picture, hope that's just because the paint was wet...

Looking good. Hopefully that is just wet paint unless the paint was not mixed well before he sharted and the color was sitting at the bottom.

It's just the lighting, keeps showing up on my camera that way but looks fine in person, we'll see how it looks once we put the light fixture up but it all looks uniform now that it's dry

Took another pic of the lighting to check with my phone, to the naked eye it's the same color, with the lighting it looks different but definitely appears to just be lighting.

And yesterday he grouted the tile, came out great!

^ No border between the tile and carpet or are you replacing the carpet too?

Ah ok, I thought the transition seats underneath the tile (or that's how I've always done it at least) which is why I was asking.

Nope, this is a secondary bathroom that was barely used for 10 years. The Champ is going strong in the main bathroom, and has been for quite some time

First thing I bitched about after he left

I had it right side up, he did it to "code" which is supposed to be upside down?

I'm flipping it back to the way I had it when I replaced the thing in the first place...

It apparently was changed in a bunch of states a few years back. It is code now here in NC as well.

The explanation for the change I was told is that if a cable comes slightly unplugged but not enough to no longer be active if the ground pin is on the top it blocks a metal object from connecting the live and neutral wires together.

I missed that...I am assuming they will go back and paint over it or else why didn't they use brown.
I prefer brown caulk usually. Usually it's bigger.

it's not the size of the caulk, it's how you apply it.

The contractor did the window, and the sink. My gf taped off the sink and it still looks like that

We're going to redo the caulk on both the sinks

Yeah, my girl already was bitching about his caulking job in the main bathroom. She made me caulk the division between the shower and tile and it came out really nice. We're planning to redo the caulk on both sinks. The window I will probably just paint and be done with it
