Back porch flooring?

I have an enclosed back porch, however there's no foundation under it. It's basically a room built around a small deck.

It's easily the most ugly part of my house. I want to refurbish it a bit. I don't want to go so far as rebuilding it... i just want new flooring, new walls, new windows, etc.

What kind of flooring can I put in there? It isn't heated, and like I said there's nothing but air below the subfloor. The floor is about 2 feet off the ground.

Right now it is some tongue & groove floor boards painted gray... like your typical old house porch.

Can you use treated plywood and frame it to the ground and insulate it from the inside? that would help. as for flooring as long as its weather resistant (ie no water leaks in)in there i would think just about any thing would work?

Not sure if it's possible, but what about rip out the current flooring and put in a concrete floor? Then put some steps up to the door. Is this possible?

Would Trex work? You could put that down, then just get a nice outdoor area rug and it would look pretty sweet...

Pics ?? I'd imagine it's like every old porch out there with gray painted floors and a small crawlspace underneath...

Maybe just a remove an replace deal ?? Remove the old painted tongue and groove and replace with something (tongue and groove?) you can finish instead of paint...

<--- misses having a porch...

i'm thinking about doing the trex on the front porch as it's simply screened in...

for this porch however, it's more like an entryway/mudroom... i'd like it to feel more like youre inside the home then still on the porch...

If you beef it up a bit so it doesnt flex you could tile it... Some nice terra cotta?
