appliances leaking!!!!!!!

well teh mrs dallison and i were downstairs working on our project and she notices the floor was wet under the water heater. wtf??
it looks like it is leaking internally and leaking near the bottom. so i call my "home warranty co." and they have my claim on dispatch, whatever that means.
so i need to wait til they call.

then...... i am doing work and the washer makes this wicked noise and it keeps going so i shrug it off as a pos $1400 set.
so a few min later i see water on the tile floor wtf again!!!
there is only cement under the tile so no real problems.
the drywall sucked up some of the water so i unscrewed it and removed it so i could sop up the water.

so i spend 30 min setting up an appointment for tuesday to get it looked at

Thats some bad luck right there. You don't have any type of drainage installed?

Been there.....Not fun....My advice is to get some lighter fluid and burn down the house.

It sucks, but as long as they get it dry quickly, it should not be a problem.

Any chance you can call a regular plumber and bill it to the warranty company?

That's a load of crap, when you pay for a warranty they should be emergency dispatched. The guy should show up in a matter of hours, not days.

well the plumber came by and replaced the hot water heater. we only paid a $100 deductible after some hassles from the home warranty co.

but now when we look to buy a new house in a few yhears i know a little more to look for
