You don't need to replace it with the same one. Fluidmaster makes a bunch of replacement fill valves. Here's one I've used.
What you have is the old style with the big ball that is on a metal pole. Get one like the one above and you'll be golden.

But i need a filler valve that can connect that large tube thats in the pics. I dont have an overflow tube and that plastic tubing (thats connected to the L-shape thing) goes directly into the bowl. Or do i not need that?

If he's got the kind with the float, it's called a ballcock :gheylaugh:
When my ballcock needed replacing I bought a kit with the fill valve, flapper and overfill pipe....

Jesal, most toilets now have a fill value and flush valve...
the fill valve has a tube that fills the flush value... usually its alot smaller then the one your "european" ballcock has...
the fill valve/flush valve (on the right) looks like this:
The old style ballcock is in the left.
You might just need to replace all the guts, so you'll end up having the modern setup like on the right side of the picture.

now that I'm thinking about it, maybe you have a weird type of setup because of the type of toilet you have (fancy).
You must have a plumbing supply place around....

I just ordered the one from http://www.azpartsmaster.com.
Sorta gross cuz i think one of my buddies took a leak in that toliet and now it smells since its been sitting for a few days. I might have to fill it quick just to flush it once.
