Accepted My Offer!

After 24 hours of offering and counter-offering, I'm now a proud first-time homeowner...for $15,000 less than was asked!

3 br, 1 ba, 2-car gar., 1,300 sq.ft. in a very nice part of South Mpls.

Couldn't be more excited!

Nice purchase. We'll be putting an offer on a townhome very soon. Gonna see if we can get 5K below the asking.

Thanks Gents!

Closing on Oct. 30th.

Luckily, the gf's dad is VP of a stone and tile company, so I get the "family" discount on whatever I want...which basically means it's free, but I have to either do it myself or pay for installation, and my do-it-yourselfer step-dad just bought a $600 tile-cutter, so it's time for it to pay for itself! The free granite counter-tops for the kitchen and bathroom are first on the list, followed by a dishwasher in the kit. and a re-tile of the kitchen floor/backsplash and a re-tile of the bathroom...total cost = 1 dishwasher!

The basement is a blank slate right now, so I look forward to finishing that next winter and adding another 500 sq. ft. to my home.

The inside of the house is pristine, so some simple painting projects is all it will take for the rest of the house.
Luckily there's a home Depot only a mile or two away, so treks there and back won't be too long...only expensive!

Hey that is a great house! Looks like it was kept immaculate - house AND property. Enjoy. Post more pics after you have had time to relax and enjoy it. We close on the 19th. Can't wait.

Looks really nice!
