Shit you mean you didn't use a phone number randomizer and just a constant supply of free hour discs to get your service?

Demo complete. Just a couple holes to patch, some baseboards to replace/repair & a bit of minor repair where the tape broke the adjoining drywall/finish. Then texture & paint.
Hauling sheetrock out bit by bit. Have filled the garbage can twice & still have large sheets to get rid of.

More ambient light & seems like improved air circulation.

Maybe.
I've got a surplus of unused desktops at work, so I could probably snag one for nothing, since they're just sitting idle & not going to be reissued. Only problem there is that they're all full-sized towers, we don't get many of the micro-desktops back from the field without them being destroyed.
I'd also have to add another AP, since the Ubiquiti in the living room doesn't push signal into the garage very well. Easier to pass a hardwire through from the office & run that way, or put an AP in the garage (or in the office), still running a hard line through.

TV in the living room, PS3 & my workstation are hardwired. Extra Wi-Fi coverage in the front would be nice.

^ Nice!
We got one for my wife over the summer, she seems to enjoy it a lot. I've started getting on it every night now that gyms are closed here (and I can't run outside because cold) and it's pretty good. I'm used to lifting and running so the muscles used to bike are very different. First time I got on the bike I got my ass handed to me lol.

Awesome. I have been considering one of those for going on 2 years now but have never pulled the trigger. I used to ride my bike a ton before moving. I could do 15-18 miles weaving through neighborhoods and never having to ride on very busy streets. Now where I live I would have to drive to be able to do that so never do it.

I used to ride my road bike a lot (for me, not in comparison to the huge miles put in by the guys in the bicycle thread )
Luckily, I have Look pedals/cleats already, so my shoes should work. May give it a few test runs until my wife gets some shoes.
Will definitely be different with it being direct drive (no coasting). If we like it, I may give a shot at bringing my road bike & trainer inside & try to do some of the classes alongside her. We'll see how that goes.

I bought a second pair for me and they Peloton ones seem to be a good price so I just went with those.
I've done a few more beginner classes now and am starting to get used to riding so it's far less painful and I can go harder. The next few weeks should go much better though I hope this isn't going to F up my running lol.

We got the sweat mat & the weights.
IMO, the Peloton shoes are overpriced compared to what you could get at your LBS. That, and being able to get some that fit you well & are comfortable.

I did some searching online (Amazon) and found that they were all pretty close to each other in price...?

I guess since the Peloton shoes come with the cleats, it's about a wash in the end.
I'd found some Shimano shoes at REI for ~$60, but will likely swing up to my LBS & check them out. Even for a slightly higher price, I like to support them.
Plus, with the Euro sizing on bike shoes, it'd be good to be 1 & done, with being able to try them on & make sure they fit properly.

I wish I had the space for a legit workout room. All I've got space for is a folding weight bench and some all-in-one dumbbells

Who knows, too late for me as I already bought the Peloton shoes. Oh well. Thankfully they both fit right and they offered free returns.

What's your peloton ID? Who knows how often I'll use it, but we'll see.

I am definitely out of shape.
10 minutes on a 'Scenic Ride' & that was about all I had. Granted, I had the resistance pretty high the first few minutes. Going to take some adjustment to get used to it.

Camera makes it look brighter than it really is. Bottom 1/2 of the house looks a bit dark.
Might have to look into fabbing up a couple short strands for the front porch & bay window.
Had a short strand left over & it was just enough to do that back porch.

Looking back, I had not done the lights above the front porch. That was a 2-man job, since the ladder is at a fairly shallow angle.
While I was up there, noticed the rain gutter above the bedroom at the R corner was pretty gunked up. Blasted it with the hose while I was up there & it wasn't draining. Had a tennis ball blocking the downspout (luckily just sitting in the hole, not stuck).
