I borrowed one of these from my neighbor to do ours: 22 foot I think. I need to just pick one up for myself, I think a 30' would be just right to be able to do it all easier.

^ Yeah, I wan't getting on the roof. Did it all with a 22' ladder.
Will try to have a 32' next year which should make the job easier.

The 22' Werner has a good bit of bounce to it on the way up/down when fully extended. And it ain't light.

Yeah, it's stable for sure, just that bit of bounce about halfway up is a little unnerving the first couple times. Especially when you're used to rigid extension ladders.
The Werner being able to collapse/fold down to about a 4' tall ladder makes it a lot easier to store.

Had someone in my office make the comment that a lift truck would've made it easier.
While true, the soft yard would've been a mess, along with disassembly of the fence.

LOL...same...been eating whatever I want, but LESS of it...cut out alcohol...go run 2 miles 4 mornings a week...
being happy helps...all chemical levels are probably better.
I was up to 260 at one point...probably around 230 married and 215 single (with active gf).
I think we are a visual representation of how we feel assuming decent habits.
Sorry for the OT...

Seafood diet here, see food & eat it. My dad is the same way, he's maybe 190lbs at 55 years old.

In house news, picked up a Ring doorbell.
Co-worker had bought it on Black Friday & his wife decided she didn't want it. He was going to return it via Amazon.
We had some packages for my wife's business stolen (we think, they show delivered & weren't there on the porch) last night, around $600 in product. He's selling me the camera for what he bought it, about half what they list for on the Ring website.

This one is the base Ring Doorbell, so they were $99 for BF. Still available at that price in the nickel finish. Ours is the Venetian Bronze, which should go well with the wrought iron on the front door.

720p video, but no live view. All models above the base model have the ability to live view the camera.
This one does record, I guess you have to do the $30/yr service for it to have the recordings

Ring Camera installed last night. Simple install, longest part was waiting on my drill battery to charge to drill into the brick for the anchors.
A little washed out with the porch lights on, didn't get a night vision shot.

It's just the base Ring Doorbell. They were on sale for $99 on Amazon for BF. Checked yesterday & the nickel finish was still $99. Normal price is $179.
Have gotten a few false positives via motion, but I'd rather that than to miss someone actually there.

I saw that review and it made me pause for a moment...seems like you can get a decent 720P system with the hard drive for a couple hundy and maybe that money would be better used toward that...
at least to me...we have a pool and driveway with cool cars on it...I think I want some added protection.
