for you body builders

Not every person is the same. How does a scale know your body fat % by taking your height and comparing it with your weight?
Several methods: calipers that pinch your skin on different parts of your body, again not necessarily accurate depending on your body mass in those areas. Theres also electrical machines that send small currents through and give a reading based on how long it should take. Best methods are water displacement but thats expensive and rarely done.
I'd guess doing both the caliper and electrical machine and comparing results would be best realistic method. Or if you have the money to do the third option that would be best.
I believe those "eggs", that they use to test every college player going through the NFL combine, do body fat as well as numerous other tests. I would bet those are expensive to use as well.

I have heard 1.5g protein per pound of bodyweight. Soooo....for me, being 280lbs.,yeah, I'm a big boy, that would be 420 grams. I think it all depends on your goals and what you consume. If you want to be a freak and have the proper diet, and genetics, all that protein will benefit you. I know when I don't comsume enough protein in that I'm sore forever. Escpecially my legs.
