what's your best workout day

What’s up gym rats! Just curious and bored, what’s the most weight you have ever lifted? The most weight you have lost in a month? How far did you ride your bike without stopping? Or whatever work out or sport you did that made you think, “Damn, that was a good day.”
I’ll go first…
I was only 5’6” and 160 pounds when I….
Leg pressed 1380 pounds twice, squat 495 on free weight, squat 510 on the smith machine
Dumbbell shoulder press 100 pounds 6 times
Tried to bench press 315 once, but I had a spotter…. Not a chest guy…

About two weeks after I leg pressed 1380 pounds, a guy came up to me and said “hey, you’re the guy that leg pressed 1500 pounds!” I laughed and told him it was only 1380. and he said “yeah, I was telling my buddies how you had weights stacked on top because you didn’t have any space left on the bar!”

holy shit dude.

that's.. a lot of weight.

impressive #'s. i'd love to have that kind of strength.

not a gay request or anything, but pic of yourself? lol. I'm 5'4" and aiming for a body weight of 160-165 lbs. I'd be estatic to put up a third of the #'s you have posted lol.

Most weight I ever bench pressed was 225.
Most ever on a leg press was 540. Most cardio I ever did was over an hour on the eliptical and according to the calorie counter, I burned 1500 calories.
Most weight I lost in a month was 15 lbs. and the most weight I gained was 9 lbs (lots of whey protein & supplements).
I have those "good days" every now and then when I leave the gym..I'm like damn...that was a great workout.

LOL…thanks bro!!! yeah I have a pic, but I didn’t have a digital camera at the time…but now since I have a digital cam, I can take a picture of the pic, if you know what I mean….but dude, that does sound pretty gay though

The day I did 1380, I probably could have gotten 1500 if I didn’t do 8 sets before hand…. But after I hit 1380, I did a drop set by removing one and/or two 45 pound plates and did as many as I could until there was only 100 pounds left on the machine…I rolled off the machine and kept on rolling on the ground in pain….

Keep working hard and good luck bro!

lol. yeah, i had to triple think about asking LOL.

it's just hard to find guys my build/height putting up good #'s.

also, if i may ask, what does your diet look like? I'm trying to do a clean bulk right now with 2500 calories a day (almost equal carb/protein and low fat percentages), and i sit @ 147 lb. I'll be supplementing of course with heavy lifting and a lot of cardio work (i absolutely love boxing) to steadily get bigger while keeping the fat down.

I'm thinking of pushing my calorie count up to 3,000 but not sure if it were to be wise.. =/

Never been a huge lifter. Hell never really tried to lift heavy till 6 months ago. I was always a swimmer with bad rotator cuffs. But last week I repped 225, 4 times on bench. I guess I've always been able to curl more, so my bicept curl workout consist of 3 sets, 12 reps each, 50-55-60 lbs single dumbells.

My best workout day was when I did free weights, went climbing on the university climbing wall, and went swimming all in one day (but not consecutively). I felt GREAT!

My biggest accomplishment was getting to 161 lbs and 11% bodyfat in June 2006.

Now, thanks to school being insane, I'm 154lbs and 13% bodyfat (measured via water displacement). Once I submit my resume and get a job, move, and stabilize my life, I should be able to get back up there. Right now I'm on maintenance.
