tips for increasing muscle mass
i played ice hockey for 8 years when i was younger but never did any weight training. the heavy cardio and fast metabolism, i never broke 120 lbs until i was 18. i started to hit the gym for awhile and i got up to 135 lb, and i stopped for a few years.
now i'm 21, 22 in august, and i'm 150 lb. i've been doing home workouts for the past 2-3 months but i never get a lot of time to hit weights, so i can't do the one muscle group a day, i usually have to do 2 muscles groups. since my time is limited, a gym is out of the question.
i have one of those select tech weight type systems, dumb bells that go up to 50 lb / bell. i have a bench that has incline. i load up on protein. but i can't seem to budge past 148-150. my goal is 160 lb (i'm 5'10"). i try to compound exercises as well.
so i'm looking for recommendations for dumb bell exercises that will work different muscle groups. i have the hardest time finding back and leg exercises with such a limited selection since i do not have room for a barbell. i try to eat as much protein as possible. any suggestions? thanks.
