Started Gym again

Alrights guy need some help I want to go to the gym 4 - 5 times a week and I can so that isn't the problem..

My calv muscles have recovered (see well my muscles are dead threa) they are a little sore but they will be fine tmrrw ( monday). I am 5 ' 8/5'9 and i weigh 193 - 194 (weighed 200 like 2 weeks ago)

Anyway

M- Chest, Triceps

T- Back, Biceps

W- Legs,Calv

TH- Abs/Chest

Also each day i want to cycle about an hour ... Last time i cycled for an hour well 70 minutes if you count two cool down sesions I got 13 + miles I was like on level 3 - 8 during the work out..

Does that sound good. Also I drink protein shake in the morning (nutek pro5) eat subway at lunch (foot long w.e I want on it). then hit the gym then have my protein shake after words with a lot of water..

Protein shake has 64 grams or protein in each one.. Soo.. what you guys think?

It's good for both.. from what I've gathered

Fat loss = eat less
Gain muscle = eat more

Based on what your daily calorie need is for your body.

More diet detail please. Muscles are made in the kitchen. I hope you are eating more than subway.

It's similar to what I have been doing though. My arms have gotten a tad bigger, but a lot more definition. My quads have gotten huge though. I am really close to a 6pack, but I just cannot get my body to lose the last bit of belly fat.

I do have buns of steel though

So you don't eat a meal after a workout?

That is terrible. Your body needs food, and you're starving your body. Try to eat 4-6 meals a day even broken out. My 6 meals when I was in my losing fat stage was:

Meal 1 (7am)
Scoop Protein + 8oz skim milk
Whole Grain Bagel with whipped cream cheese

Meal 2 (930-10am)
1/2 Cup Oatmeal
2-3 Boiled Eggs w/o the yolk

Meal 3 (12am)
Salad with can of albacore tuna + italian dressing

Meal 4 (3pm)
Orange/Apple/Banana

Workout at 430-530

Meal 5 - Post workout (530-600pm)
Banana
Scoop Protein + 8oz skim milk

Meal 6 - Dinner (630-700pm)
Chicken Breast (baked)
Steamed Vegetable Package

It may not be perfect, but it worked for me. I did that for about 40-45 days straight, very boring, but I got down the weight I targeted. Now my metabolism is so high I eat what I want, but still make sure I don't go to McDonalds and eat 3 double cheeseburgers.

What are you eating all day? Just the subway sandwich? That's like 1000 calories tops in your diet all day with the protein shakes.

A protein shake is considered a meal FYI. Do you know how hard it is to cook/eat 6-8 meals a day? Thats why it's called a replacement meal supplement.

The guy doesnt need 6-8 meals a day anyway if he's trying to keep his calorie intake low and lose weight like he mentioned.

When they are suggesting have 6 meals a day, they aren't meaning 6 full blown meals like an average person eats. Its the idea that you eat 6 SMALL meals throughout the day to

1- Control your calorie intake and make you more aware of what you eat
2- Maintain a higher and stable metabolism throughout the whole day

I'm sure there are more reasons, but even when eating these 6 meals, you can easily stay under 2000 calories or even 1500 I'm sure. These are small portions.

Exactly my point! If the kid is having 2 64gram protein shakes a day, that's 2 meals. If he wants to lose weight, he doesn't need to eat 6-8 times a day. Even if it is under his calorie limit. He can eat a healthy 3-4 and lose weight just as easily.

He can cut the meals he's already eating in half, and then divide it up into twice as many meals. He increases his metabolism by doing that, allowing him to benefit even more, and make it that much easier to lose weight.

Well I think people could debate for ages about whats the best foods to eat to achieve certain results, but it's pretty well proven that if you break up your meals into smaller portions and divide them up through the day, your metabolism will increase.

Not try to rag on anyone, just saying.

Alright I had a shake in the morning (1 meal) subway foot long (w.e i want on it just turkey plus vegies plus oil vin and ranch + chips) then nothing then shake after workout.. thats 3..

Now should i have a shake 6 inch workout 6 inch shake? or should I stick with the foot long because I just got back from working out 8:30 im back home i do 2 hour work out and i dont want to eat before I go to sleep.

I cycled 15.5 miles and mainted like a 85 - 90 rpm... sometimes i went to 130 and 120 in short skits and mainted it there till i got 1/2 a mile done. I did that twice..

I worked on Shoulders/Tris/chest all machine no bench.. when I do abs and chest ill hit the free weights..

Soo i think i burned a lot today

It's all good dude. I just saw results within myself when I was dieting and I only had 3-4 meals a day. Now that I am trying to put the weight back on, but keep my BF low, I am eating about 5-6x a day small portions. I just have a really fast metabolism as it is no matter how many times I eat.

Umm....it doesn't sound like you are starving your body. I don't see what's wrong with doing the 6 inch being that you are trying to lose weight. Yes, your body needs fuel, but it sounds like you are getting enough. If you feel particularly fatigued though, you might consider changing the diet just a little bit.

So eat two six inches in separate times. Eat one six inch instead of a foot long... Or just still with the foot long ahah I think seperating would be a baddish idea.. I think sticking to what im doing and see where it goes.. Good thing i didnt listen to leprechaun's and eat 4 - 6 meals plus the shakes.. I would be a fat shit lol

Except he's probably burning > 1000 calories a day. Having 2 protein shakes and a subway sub is not healthy.

I didn't say eat 4-6 meals plus the shakes.. I said to incorporate food around your shakes.

So you're only consuming 1580 calories a day? Yet you probably burn 1000 calories a day. Your body needs 15 X weight for daily functioning. You are not giving your body enough.

I can say with confidence that you are better off getting your nutrients from meals than from supplements.

I highly doubt its 15 x body weight considering 15 x 193 is almost 2900 calories...... I'm trying to lose weight burning more calories than I consume is needed right I DNR think 2900 calories help

I'm not disagreeing with you however I certainly dont have the time to cook/make 6-8 meals a day even if they are small portions. That's why they are called supplements. If we all had the time, we would eat real food I'm sure.

15 X body weight is a rule of thumb for what your body needs daily. Subtract 500 from that number and target that each day. Losing weight takes time if you want to do it in a healthy way.

Eating 1500 calories a day is a terrible way to do it unless you are an oompa loompa.

I also clamp my balls when I jackoff to slow the ejaculation, but it isn't for everyone.

Throw some shoulders in there. Do bar/dumbells instead of machines. This is a repost.
