help

Anyone in the Los Angeles area know where to buy gym equipment? Not looking for sports authority or anything like that. I'm in the market to buy a Lat Machine.

Is this for a home gym or a fitness club? If for a home gym, you can save tons of money and space with resistance bands that attach to the wall or door, or a chinup bar for the doorway..good luck...

If money is of no issue, then Lifefitness makes great stuff, if you want to simplify it, tricep pushups, tricep dips on a chair or bench, and pullups would work best and cost you nothing. To each their own, good luck.....

Lats-pullups, rows, ect.
tris- weighted dips, close grip weighted pushups (put it on your back), skull crushers (french curls) and on and on and on.

Do what you want, but why would you want such a big piece of machinery in your house when you can get by with db's that take up less space and can be used to work everything? Just wondering.

Does anyone read/comprehend anymore? The guy is looking for places to buy a lat machine. Not what other excise equipment to buy or what excercises to do. Jesus.

And explain to me how dumbells work your lats other that a close to your body rowing motion.

Chemmech, I dont live in LA so I'm not much help, but maybe a Play It Again Sports? You may actually find a good piece there for cheap.

I was simply stating that Lifefitness made great equipment, so if you wanted to contact them directly, I am sure they would deliver, hell there may be a distributor local to you. If your Play-it-again sports falls through this may be another route for you. Also, an even better piece would be a Free-Motion machine, it will allow you to do just about anything you want in one single machine.
