Im at 247 after going to the doc over a month ago. been doing walks and eating oatmeal, eat almost nothing but fish (expensive though) and avoided all the *bad* stuff (chicken skin, duck, fired pork, t-bone steaks, etc).

but like a crack addict suddenly forced to quit, its making me crazy.

I just got back from the doc myself. Cholesterol was 206. Doc was a bit concerned and told me to exercise more and watch my diet. I've been eating more vegetables and less fried foods. I am having a full physical in a few months. Since I don't get enough fruit in my diet I drink Mona Vie. It contains 19 fruits, omega 3 and 6, with fiber too. It's very high in antioxidants (Acai berry). Apparently the Acai berry is some sort of natural superfood. Check this out:

25 - total was 298 and my HDL and LDL were out wack. 3 months on Vytorin and i'm down to 188 total, and my LDL is down and HDL is up.

I want to avoid tacking meds, would prefer to do it naturally and live a healthier lifestyle, instead of pounding fried cheese then popping a pill.

thats always the best way, but for info wise thats probably some of the meds that will be prescribed though.

It has nothing to do with the deal besides the stores a partnership with my uncles whos a nutrionist and has a PHD in organic chemistry and has been in this business for about 30 years. I've been working with him and now Im going to college for the same thing.

Its jus horrible the side effects of the prescribed medicine......sure the natural stuff is slower but MUCh safer.

thats why they have doctors my friend. if something goes wrong blame the doctor then they will switch it to something else.
