I finished the race with a time of 3:27:46 with a pace of 15:51 min/mile. Not horrible conisdering I really didn't train. My only training was the three times I went out running in the past 9 months with my longest training distance being 3.3 miles.
My 5K time was 40:16 with a pace of 12:58 min/mile.
My 10K time was 1:32:27 with a pace of 14:53 min/mile.
My 15K time was 2:24:54 with a pace of 15:33 min/mile.
What surprised me about the race yesterday was that I wasn't tired, I was just in pain due to the lack of conditioning. I was in a lot more pain yesterday than I am today. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain today, but doing surpinsgly well. As long as I stretch and walk every little while my legs dont't hurt. Here's to hoping that next year I can ain and have an awesome time. I highly suggest this race because it is a lot of fun running through Disneyland, City of Anaheim, Angel Stadium and seeing all of the supporters cheering you on along the way.

I did finish the race under my own power.

Well, I didn't run the entire race. Around the 6 mile mark is when my knees, especially my right knee and my right ankle began to tighten up and were getting really sore from the impact of running on the concrete. At about mile 7 I couldn't run at all and had to walk at a fast pace. Hopefully with conditioning I'll be able to run a lot more next year, but my plan for this year was to run/walk the race.

I ran most of the first 2 or 3 miles, but like I said earlier, my intention from the beginning was the run-walk strategy for the entire race, but I did try to pace myself so that I could make an attempt to run as much as I could.
With my work schedule slowing down a bit with the end of our Fiscal year approaching, I should be able to start training a lot more in October, which may set me up well if I decide to take a stab at the Rock-n-Roll marathon in LA at the end of October.
