Question Dietary suppliments

I want to loose body fat and yes I do cardio on days I don't lift. I read in a mag, and I do follow it, that what is suggested to loose body fat but not muscle mass is to:

- fully sprint for 30-60 min then jog/walk for 1-2 min = thats 1 interval. 4 intervals was suggested.

Now my question is its taking forever for me to loose my gut this way b/c im not doing the marathon type of cardio. I want to cheat a bit, in complimenting with my already cardio, by taking dietary suppliments such as "Hydroxycut Hardcore" Link here: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...entPage=family

Is this a good product to help me loose body fat quicker? Any other ones you guys have already used and recommend??

Supplement...?

Dude, if you want to lose your gut, it's a combo of cardio, situps, and DIET.

There's no miracle drug/supplement.

Gut weight is the hardest to loose, but I heard that 30-60 minutes of cardio (with 5 minutes of resting heart rate and then 1-2 minutes of high heart rate, then repeat) is good.

What do you do for that 1-2 minutes?

He prob means fully sprint for 30-60 seconds. Either UP your cardio, or post your diet.

Im studying to be a registered dietician and am a certified nutrition wellness counsultant and the number one thing people dont realize, is that diet is the most important thing.

Yes, i watch what I eat. I maintain my protein intake (170g/day) and try to eat a little over 2g calories a day. Yes, of course I meant 30-60 seconds. If I was able to sprint for an hour, I wouldn't be asking about loosing a gut

for that min or two, I do slow jog for the first 2 intervals and then the last 2 I try to do a brisk walk. Seems like its taking forever to loose this gut. Sometimes I just want to stop lifting and just do marathon type cardio everyday but I worked too hard to gain the muscle mass that I have. That is why I am here to ask for advice on which diet pills to take ALONG with my already cardio that I do and the diet that ive been maintaining.

Does anybody have any suggestions on pills that they have already taken?

Speed intervals are a good way to improve pace if you're preparing for a race. If you want to burn more calories, running at 6-7 mph for 20-30 minutes is the way to go. If you want to stay with the speed intervals, do 8 instead of 4. BTW, a slow jog during your recovery is better than walking. If you're not fully recovered (still breathing hard) between intervals, walking's fine. Goodluck!

This may be a bit of an alternative approach but you can try doing an inner body cleanse. Drink a lot of water daily, do a colon/kidney/etc.. cleanse. This will help your body to digest and (expel) waste easier, and more throughly so that you don't have any unnecessary stuff in your body that adds up in your gut area.
