I normally hang out in the RL Forum I'm about to share already has been covered in some shape, form or fashion. Anyhow, on a trip to Kansas, just north of Nashville, I glimpsed into my rear view mirror to see a TL approaching with a non standard grill. Having my camera on my front seat I grabbed it to take some shots - Apparently the owner was less than enthusiastic about the snaggle tooth grill and opted to replace it. See my photos here:

Yea, we've seen this grill before. I've actually seen one in person at Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City.

 

So the owner replaced the grille with another that look worst.

 

 

I know of someone who made a real "custom" grille.

4G TL is not sweet looking anyway but really unique style...

Why would someone want the Acura to look like a Caddy? I do like the look of the painted stock grille though. Can't beat the price, that is for sure.

 

LOL - lose 28 points because of that post? I was referring to the OP's link to the TL he saw on the highway and not the RonJon grille. The RJ grille is nice, the other one is less than desireable.

 

They should have made the grill like the RJ one but with the MDX mesh panels above and below it... In a gunmetal color, would have been fantastic and totally fit the look of the car...

 

I really, really like the RJ grill. Are the '12 and '13 4G grills are different from the '09-'11? I would also like to see it on a car without the body kit. I could probably get the wife on board with $1k but $2k+ for a buch of plastic would be a hard sell.

 

Yes,the 2012 grille is different from the 09/11,his grille is for the 09/11 model only. Go to the RonJon website,the is a photo gallery that has some more pics of the grille.

 

That is the best looking TL I have ever seen. Amazing. I would like to see the rear as well.

if the 4G TL would have come out of the factory with the RJ grille and lip kit, I would have been in queue to buy that car...

 

personally.. only thing that looks OK is the lip.. but even that.. the silver center piece is made only of fiberglass... the sideskirts bulge out too much as you can see and the rear lip is just MEH.. just my personal opinion..

but it would look great with RJ front lip, OEM sideskirts and OEM rear lip.
Grill looks OK. i like the 2012 better tho.

 

I agree with potmilkz about the side skirts but RonJon's grill should've been adopted by Acura. It really changes the whole look.

 

But the ladies like the bulge! Lol.

he makes the grill..the only thing you have to do is buy a grill from a 2019 tsx aspec and send it to him and he makes it for you 🤙🏼

It's 1,200 for the grille and 1,200 for the headlights. The names of the people that do them are listed above or in another thread. The parts will need to be obtained by you then sent to them which totals at 1,200 for headlights and then 1,200 for the grille.
