air bag issues
hey, i'm new to the forum but could use some help. i bought a used TSX for my son (2005, 6sp man) and love it.
in the first snowstorm of the year he slid the rear drivers side wheel into a curb which did some suspension damage and also set off airbags (drivers thorax bag and drivers side curtain).
i don't want to write the car off, so i've repaired the suspension stuff and had the airbags and headliner replaced. i used airbags from a TSX being parted out.
here's the issue - the computer won't stop throwing the code about the airbags even when reset. and 3 of the 4 windows won't roll down. you can hear one of them thinking about it.
the dealer told me that they are all on the same circuit so it won't be a fuse. all i can think of is that there is maybe an issue with the wiring harness not plugged in properly, or the computer isn't recognizing the used airbags. i talked to the installer, he's going to take it apart to check but he's pretty confident in his work.
any help would be much appreciated.
