so my garage is pretty much done. Well i need to joint the drywall first. But its so motherfuckin cold i dont even feel like it. I redid my living room shit so i didnt get the attic insulation, the garage door adjusters, the garage tile, or the garage buck stove installed.. This means, the first nice day in the winter we have ill prolly do it..

But dont cross yo fingers..

i need some ambition to get this project done.. Im kinda thinking about ordering new barrels for my rear wheels tho..

Stay with the 19x9 but just do mass offset. like -35mm or some shit.

who knows. I had a dream the other night i had a lcd on the wall in my bed room, in my master bathroom, and one in my living room too. The dream was pretty sweet, so maybe ill have to start on that. haha..

What do you guys think about as far as my interior goes.....

-Remove carpet and shampoo it entirely.
-Some sort of nice factory acura luxury leather tan seats...(new rl, new tl, cl-s i kinda like too..
-Re-upholstered door panels so that small leather insert where the handle is and shit has black leather instead of tan. So stock door panels with black leather inserts
-black floor mats.. new tl ones new rl ones whatever i can find.. I have 04 3.5 rl ones in it now that work fine, just want black on tan look.
-Black leather wrapped a,b,c pillars and headliner/sunroof

If i do this i would wrap overtop of the holes for the oh shit handles so they are gone, and prolly vynal dye the tan dome light and that plastic shit there.

I was thinking of wrapping everything in black nubuc suede a while ago tho.. Like a wrc rally car before the carbon fiber craze.. Thats way more work than id want to do tho. Im just trying to freshen it up. Otherwise ill have WAY too much invested in this car.

don't try to paint or dye hard plastic, its not pretty when you touch it. Why don't you dye the entire carpet black after you shampoo it, it hides stains.

btw, pix of the garage!

Not true. We wrapped my buddy's headliner and did work on his door pannels on his S15 with black suede, and use Dupilicolor non-gloss black interior paint for his rear view mirror, coat hangers, oh shit handles, visors(they were vinyl) and dome light casing. It all looked like it came from the factory black and is still holding up great. You just have to do it right and take your time.

you dudes all live in the same area dont you..

haha

Ive seen good looking stuff with vynal paint.. Its just a matter of how much time you spend../ I think the black inserts may create a different look that works out.. Plus its easier than driving to get the charcoal interior.

ive been cleaning up a lot of dog shit lately and working on my house a lot.

I will prolly start on the paint in another month or so,, maybe less if I can.. Once i start working on it again it will be another big lump of mods. Prolly the entire interior redone, and the paint and body..

Wheels for sale. i am pretty sure

If you want the wheels on the car right now, ill sell them to you for 2500.00 with no tires.. BRAND NEW...

this is not a full force for sale add, just figured id add it in since some people are a fan of them on this particular car

btw 990 each +120 for custom color, and another 60 for the offset is what it would cost you PER wheel.. then wait 20 weeks.

mmmmm next....(whoa that pic is a little big, but i dont feel like resizing it)

Forgeline

The competition line zx3 race wheel.

Pretty much straight race car wheels. Same ones wheel source used on all of their american lemans cup cars. Similar to hre but more like bbs being they are used for lemans racing. and you can buy the actual lemans wheels.. At 1500 each though.. haha

Hmm, well how bad was it exactly? I mean, I don't go to doctors or the hospital either, but if it was almost severed, then, uh, I'd go, haha. I ground my elbow to the bone once and I just took the bus home. Sprinkled some Chinese medicine into the wound and I was ok. Thank god for that stuff, it'll stop bleeding from a gunshot wound!

~Cheers~

colt, how did you mount your wing? did you drill holes in your trunk? or did you use tape or epoxy?

take all the bolts and studs out. Take anti seize or some sort of grease and strategicly place it directly over where the studs came out of the spoiler. Measure it up and push it down on the trunk.

Pick the spoiler back up carefully directly upward. Then you got your dots where to drill.. Cobalt or titanium drill bit at highspeed. Also use a hairdryer or heat gun on the surface you are drilling before you begin going to town on it. The heatgun will soften up the clear and basecoat so they dont chip and flake away. Drill your shit 3/16 just so the studs will come through.

I put new 3m weatherstripping seal deal on it. I did not use epoxy or sticky tape on it though. 35 series stretched tires and 1000lb springs along with a dilinquent driver like myself would certianly end up with that shit blowing off the trunk at 140 for sure if i didnt use bolts.

Id suggest to bolt it on there most def. Id also suggest you get the wing without the honda emblem. I really wish i had gotten that one instead of this one with the badge.

colt,

i got the one without the emblem but only 2 of the 6 bolts came out. the other 4 are expoxied into the spoiler. i think your spoiler has a metal side underneath, mine is completely abs (3lbs total, might just cut off the bolts and use 3M double sided tape). btw, what size nuts are required to bolt them in? i didnt get any with mine. thanks! i'll post pics when i get it painted and mounted...

I got the one w/the emblem. I wanted the one w/o it, but I couldn't find one anywhere. plus this one was already painted white.

undyroos, is the one you got green? cause I saw a green one forsale on ebay long ago. I wish I got that one, lol. anyway post a pic when its painted and mounted.

yea i got the green one. i noticed it was a lot thinner that the one you and colt got so i snagged it, plus i wouldn't have to change the emblem...

still don't know what size bolts i need for it, did yours come with any?

looks like the guys who removed it use a pry bar or something, there are some nicks in it that i need to get smoothed out before paint.

i got it from a friend in japan. He has a saber and knows all about them. And sells used parts. I guess he had the spoiler on his own car, so he knew exactly how to take it off. Just take the bolts out and use dental floss to cut the tape if its stuck. Not a prybar or screwdriver.

Mines just got like 8mm studs that slide into little clips on the wing. There is no metal in mine, its entirely FRP. That shits brittle also, so dont be messin with it too much or it will snap those stud clips right off the wing.

this is what mine looks like underneath, 4 bolts and two "nuts", one on each end. no clips or removable studs or anything. still have no idea what size hardware to get or just cut them off and use 3m tape. you can see the nicks on the end of the lip

here's the notch for the emblem

here's a profile shot of how "thin" it is
