How to reset SRS code
Sorry for a new post, the issue is different now.
1997 TL 2.5.
The SRS light came on few days ago. I tried to rest it but could not get the yellow plug in the fuse box to come off. There’s a tab, I squeezed it any which way but could not get it to unplug.
I took my car to the dealer and they erased the code and told that if it comes back, I will need to replace the driver side air bag.
Well, as soon as I left the dealership, SRS came back on.
I ordered an air bag from a salvage yard.
My question is, which one in the picture needs to be unplugged to reset and delete code? I thought it is # 1.
How do I unplug it? I tried but failed.
Thanks

My SRS came on because of a bad cable reel ( clock spring). It sits under the driver side air bag.
