It's don't mess with your motor in ways that it shouldn't be messed with, go with mods that benefit the cars breathing, not restricting it

not sure why you say it's ghetto 97blackack.
I have done it to my car just recently. The parts needed came with the thermoblok spacer kit that I installed last year, and I hadn't done the bypass until yesterday when I pulled the throttle body off and almost scalded my hand after only 20 minutes of driving.
The coolant bypass by itself is pointless though.
Unless you have the thermoblok spacer kit to prevent heat going between your heads and intake manifold, or between the intake manifold and throttle body; don't waste your money.
It doesn't really GAIN you HP as stated in the auction. It simply prevents it from going away once your coolant heats up.
Oh yeah, and if you live in a really cold climate, I would uninstall the bypass during the cold months. The point of the coolant is so our throttle body valve doesn'te freeze stuck open when you are driving. This is what I plan to do during the winter.

I personally don't see any benefit from bypassing the coolant by itself
