Need Help with Muffler Installation
I have a 98 3.0 CL. I just purchased a Bosal replacement muffler - it is supposed to be a bolt on.
I realized when I was replacing the original muffler that it was not bolted to the resonator - it was attached to the bolts but there were no nuts on the other side. Anyways I continued to install the new muffler and realized that the welded resonator bolts were not long enough for a nut on the other side. Is this normal? How am I supposed to attach the muffler to the resonator?
I made a half assed bracket that will hopefully last me until I find a legitimate solution.
Thanks!

yeah i bought my magnaflows and i THOUGHT it was bolted ones but i had to weld it on....so u probably gotta do the same. and on top of that its better if u do weld it instead of bolting nuts and stuff

I would never just bolt on a muffler, u need to weld that bad boy or you'll lose it on the highway
