Knocking While Turning...

Knocking While Turning...
Hi guys,
A week ago I replaced both my CV axle assemblies as the outer boots had finally worn through and the car was making terrible knocking sounds while turning. A few days later I noticed a similar knocking sound around the inside knuckle on the right side only when I was turning right. I replaced the right side CV axle assembly again. Lo and behold, it's still making that same knocking sound.
Anyone have any advice on what else could be making this sound? Is it the differential or the transmission? Or is there a possibility I just managed to put the axle in incorrectly?

I was thinking a bearing, or a bushing, I had severe knocking from dry rotted rubber bushings

I will definitely have to investigate this tomorrow. Much cheaper than an internal diff/tranny problem!
Evidence to support this... wheel bearings make noise directly related to the speed of the vehicle, having no increased volume or speed with the speed of the engine or torque applied. Mine primarily makes it turning right and is paced with the speed of the car.
